Nivea Little Steps Big Strides for Superdrug Sustainability Campaign

Brief

Create a 360 sustainability focussed activation with synergies across instore, online & social to tap into the target consumers daily channels. The key goal was to drive the importance of bathroom recycling and making mindful purchases.

Execution

Activating in Superdrug’s  ‘Doing Good Feels Super’ promotional period, the campaign was brought to life with the initial creation of the key visuals right through to its final execution across in-store point of sale materials and social communications. This included an exclusive 24hour competition on Superdrug Social channels to drive interaction and awareness.

We also supported our client’s event with the Superdrug head office team to ]drive awareness within the SD team, and further supported with a ‘NIVEA x Superdrug Beach Clean Up’ in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society and Nivea’s sustainability ambassador, Lucy Campbell.

53 volunteers picked up 700 pieces of waste in one afternoon in Brighton. We also created beach clean-up kits and a further 30 coastal stores took part in their own cleanups resulting in cleaner beaches around the country.

The result has been an amazing activation period with sales significantly up, and the campaign was awarded the Superdrug Health & Beauty Campaign of the Year 2024.
